Eun Chong Ju, native of Korea, is a very active violinist and educator. After she obtained her Master’s Degree at Southern Methodist University, TX in Violin Performance, she was invited to Civic Orchestra of Chicago as a violin player. There, she performed with many of the world famous musicians such as Yo-Yo Ma, Emanuel Ax, Riccardo Muti, and Jaap Van Zweden. She is also very active solo violinist. Most recently, she won Third Prize at the 2019 "Golden Classical Music Awards" International Competition, the prize of which includes a performance at the renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City. She also earned Third Prize at the "Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition" in 2018, a highly competitive music competition that attracts applicants from countries all over the world.
Ju’s achievements as a violin educator are superb and abundant. She has been teaching violin for more than fifteen years since she was in Korea. She has taught over 100 winners for solo competitions and orchestra auditions. For beginners, Mrs. Ju is using Suzuki method and Belwin course.
She relocated to Dallas, TX in 2014 to live with her loving husband and performs as a first violinist with Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra. On August 2019, she released her first digital single album.
